  Features
  Benefits
Up to four 480MHz UltraSPARC™ II CPUs (8MB cache each). 360, 400, and 450MHz also available. Provides remarkably scalable computing performance for heavy compute intensive applications such as database management, decision support or simulation. Three times the compute density of comparable systems.
Internal Ultra 160 LVD SCSI hardware RAID disk storage subsystem Reduce your rack space profile and leasing costs by specifying an internal LVD SCSI hardware RAID subsystem housed in the same 5U rack-mount enclosure as the Enterprise® 450 server. Single or dual redundant hardware RAID controller options are available. Internal storage capacities up to 730GB currently supported.
Power supply redundancy The 5U rack enclosure variant of the OEM Enterprise® 450 is supplied as standard with four redundant front-loading hot-swap power modules. This extends the system resilience and redundancy even further.
