Overview
Sunrise
offers comprehensive warranty services to original purchaser and to its
product resellers. Under Sunrise's general warranty policy, equipment is
warranted to be in good working condition and free from defects in materials
and workmanship.
Please your sales agreement contract for exact terms and conditions
concerning the warranty offered.

Requesting Warranty Services
Customers are asked to provide the following information when requesting
Warranty or Return For Credit.
- Description of problem
- Customer name, address, and contact information
- Description of product and/or system configuration
- Product Identification: Product Number, Model Number, Part Number
- For Software Products: Original P.O. Number and/or Date-of-Purchase
- For Hardware Products: Product Serial Number
- For Corporate or Passport Accounts: Purchase Agreement and/or
Passport Agreement Numbers
Global Warranty Policy
Limited Warranty
Sunrise warrants to the original purchaser of Sunrise
Products that the Products will be in good working condition and free from
defects in materials and workmanship for a period specified from the
original Sunrise invoice date. Should
the Product, in the opinion of Sunrise, malfunction during the warranty
period, Sunrise will, at its option, repair or replace the Product at no
additional charge except as set forth below. Repair and replacement Products
will be furnished on an exchange basis and will be either reconditioned or
new. All replaced products
will become the property of Sunrise.
This
limited warranty does not include service to repair damage to the Product
resulting from accident, disaster, misuse, abuse, neglect, or non-Sunrise
authorized alterations, modifications, and/or repairs. Products requiring service under
this limited warranty period must be returned to Sunrise. Sunrise shall make the final
determination as to the existence and cause of any alleged defect. This limited warranty applies to
hardware products only.
This
warranty is in lieu of any other warranty expressed or implied. Sunrise makes no other warranties,
expressed or implied, including any warranty of fitness for a particular
purpose or of merchantability. In
no event shall Sunrise be liable to Buyer or end-user for direct, indirect,
special, or consequential damages such as loss of profits or business
opportunities, and Sunrise’s liability can not exceed the original
purchase price.
Limited Liability
Sunrise shall in no event be liable to the customer or to any third
party for any consequential damages whatsoever, however arising,
including but not limited to:

Any breach by Sunrise of any warranty or any other provision of any order or contract.

Any
damage to or failures of the Products or any system into which Products
are incorporated or to which any Products are connected.

Any damages resulting from cancellation of orders placed by the customer.
Alterations, Modifications and Attachments
Any alterations, additions, improvements, or attachments on the
Products not authorized in writing by Sunrise shall be solely at the
customer’s expense and risk. To the extent that any alteration,
addition, improvement, modification, or installation affects the
operation of the Products, every warranty under this Agreement
including without limitation, the implied warranty of merchantability,
shall be deemed waived by the customer and null and void and Sunrise
shall have no further obligations to the customer hereinafter.
