With a 50GB native capacity per tape and a 6MB/second native transfer rate, AIT-100 is twice the speed and
transfer rate of the original AIT-1 drive. Sunrise has launched the AIT-100 to fill the gap in the global
market for large-capacity, cost-effective, high-speed tape storage that can reliably back-up large scale
network servers.
The AIT-100 drive offers a sustained data transfer rate of 3MB/second to over 6MB/second with data compression.
On a single data cartridge 100GB of compressed information can be stored. The technology features Memory
in Cassette (MIC) architecture for rapid information retrieval and a built-in automatic head cleaner for
total convenience.

The S7 is a seven-tape, random access DLT autoloader designed as an alternative to single standalone tape
drives. Its seven-tape capacity means fewer changes, lower administrative overhead and fewer operator
errors. It is sized to fit on top of a server and two S7 units can be mounted side-by-side in 7 vertical
inches (4U). The informative LCD readout and clear menu commands make operating the S7 easy. With either
a DLT4000, DLT7000, or DLT8000 drive fitted, the S7 can easily replace one or more standalone drives to
provide a superior backup and file-recovery solution.
