The Ultra 5 workstation is Sun's lowest priced UltraSPARC-II based workstation. Designed to meet the needs of price-sensitive and volume-purchase customers that require Solaris 7 or earlier OS support, the Ultra 5 workstation is a long standing member of Sun's entry-level offering in the personal workstation market.
