This rack-mountable, deskside unit combines an advanced set of reliability, availability, and serviceability (RAS) features and supports two-to-eight processors, an integrated Fibre Channel disk subsystem, and a maximum of 64 GB of main memory for exceptional performance. The Sun Fire V880 server is binary-compatible with the entire line of Sun desktop and server systems, as well as their applications.
